So, who's tempted or already eligible for the Crossover weapon for Richard Garriot's Shroud of the Avatar?

I'm tempted to invest in it, but not because I love the walking dead and Daryl Dixon; but because the crossbow was my favorite weapon in Splinter Cell. There are definite benefits to using a weapon with no BANG when you shoot something. and looking at the recently released WIP pictures, it looks like it's going to be a repeating crossbow, which is a definite improvement to a quiver and manual loading. Aside from that, puncturing a vacuum suit with a bolt just sounds hilarious.

If only lasers were silent in a space sim... lol

I will probably get it. The only problem I see is a bulletproof suit would stop it. If they provide weapon customization then I'll get a silencer for my laser pistol and sell if the c'bow does less damage.

I'm totally the crossbow type too. So badass. But I think I'll pass on backing SotA - just not really my kind of game. I'll buy another crossbow in the PU when the time comes. Can't wait to pop a Vanduul right in the heart(s?) with a crossbow bolt, though. =)
