I really, really love this death mechanic.

I wonder if we could have CSC funerals, when characters pass on.

the article i posted here states that when your toon dies the "next place you end up is your funeral as the beneficiary so it's likely that guild funerals are s possibility.

Oh man I can see the Squadron 42 game, that if you die during single-player, the government just puts your relative in the same situation right after "your" death...

Official CSC funerals would be awesome. I'd love to talk about the achievements of our characters together.

It will give us something to work for, too. If your first funeral with CSC only has a few attendants and not much fan fare, you know to get your butt in gear and change the world. =)
