Gladius going on sale

Anybody else picking up on this one? I upgraded my Avenger to a Gladius because it looked like a faster ship. If it turns out I don't like it, I can just trade down again later.

I really like the Gladius. It's gorgeous and has some very nice stats.

I expect to see some Pandas flying the Gladius on recon missions. It fits the recommended stat sheet for black ops better than almost any other ship. You don't want engines better than TR2s for stealth craft anyway and that's the ship's only real weakness. Class 3 shield with class 4 power is pretty beefy. Light fixed weapon loadout. Looks great.

I'll keep my 350r though. =)

While on the topic of the Gladius, It needs to be added to the roster list. Might be a good idea to add all of the announced ships as well, even if they haven't been bought yet. Saves the trouble of doing it later.

I hope those stats change... Look at the Aurora LN compared to it... It has the same maneuvering thruster count, and size, but more mass. And I know that the main thruster may be vectored up/down, but that leaves a slow yaw, unless you think that powering one main thruster down is an effective way of yawing. It also has no cargo at all, and only one weapon on that gimballed mount, leaving the question of firepower for that price. If it is supposed to be a stealth craft, it shouldn't be sold as a "light fighter." Lastly, that must be equipped much harder hitting weapons in a S1 mount if it needs 2 sizes larger power plant compared to the Aurora LN...
