As the Avenger is available as a pack now..

I think it's not going to be long until we see an Avenger in the hangar or they wouldn't have released a package deal. Am I grasping at straws?

WARNING PURE SPECULATION:

I don't think the Avenger model in the hanger is the final one that we pledged for. Seeing that it has 2 seats, I'm pretty sure it's the trainer for S42 and not the one for bounty hunting. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that they finished this model for S42 and decided to be nice and let everyone see it, as a place holder and to shoe horn in another hanger ship at a mid range price.

Skulking the RSI forums has also led me to believe that the design will have some significant overhauls before anything past the dogfight module. Particularly its 2 seats, inaccessible from the cockpit cargo bay, and the staircase. The second seat and staircase make the most sense as to why they are in right now, since it is the trainer variant, and therefore doesn't need to worry about space around it, like a Hornet would. I wouldn't count on seeing too much revision before since getting ships into the game takes precedence over redesigning certain ones.

Possibly before the dogfight module is out, we'll see the single seat version, and maybe a fold away ladder like the other ships have right now.

Anyways, I think this is a beautiful ship and currently is my favorite, next to my shiny new Hornet.
