I've been out of the loop for a bit, however I do check in once in a while. I've been seeing allot of comments about the pu being available (some kind of test version). Can anyone fill me in real quick? (I did search the topic in rsi, not seeing much of anything except the aforementioned comments/threads).

What you're hearing about is probably the PTU, which means Public (not Persistent!) Test Universe. It's just a preview version of the next patch for those that opt in, nothing to do with the PU at all.

The PTU is launched about a week before a new patch. They will mention it all over the place, and then you simply (hehe) download a whole new ptu-client, ask for a password to your ptu account (done through your settings en the rsi-site), and you are all set.

Here's a link to the FAQ, which details what it is and how to sign up for it.
