Uh - $250 for the Vanguard?

Seems very expensive.
My understanding it was a long range fighter.
Pretty unhappy about this development, it seems excessive.
Is it supposed to compete with other ships at that price point? A whole Starfarer can be gotten for less.

Yeah, but the money is for furthering the game not the ship. You can always earn it in game. But for the value, this ship is a dedicated role ship, so it will be better than general purpose ships. Starfarer is dedicated fuel collecting/refining, and has pretty weak offense. I don't agree with the price, but it may be justified.

Seems excessive to me. Wait and see I suppose. At 250 though I will not be getting one unless I melt my Redeemer for it.

Yup, kinda expensive. I guess we'll see. Me, I'm really interested and wish my Hornet wasn't tied to my alpha package so I could melt it for the Vanguard. But again, we'll see.

I think too, there is no military spec ship in the game --> until the Vanguard.
So, interesting.

At this point, I've stopped all further ship purchases, not to mention that I stopped my subscription.
I'm still annoyed at CIG for what I'd consider breaking promises and making things obsolete before they're even playable.
They may very well make up the difference from other people, but zero more from my wallet.

There is also the Idris-M, and the Scythe for supposedly mil-spec things.
